Production process

Here is the revised production process workflow. I have added the new advanced air-separation and de-stoning stage right after the polyhouse drying, renamed the seventh point to focus purely on compacting, and integrated all your updates smoothly. Located in the thriving agricultural belt of Coimbatore, our production line turns raw coconut husks into premium, high-yield plant growing media. Instead of relying on heavy mechanical shortcuts, we combine natural South Indian solar heat with precise handling to deliver consistent, clean, and highly effective coco peat

Sourcing & Raw Material Selection

Our journey begins with sourcing fresh, high-quality husks from trusted coconut growers in our region. Every single batch undergoes an initial quality check upon arrival at our facility to ensure only strong, mature husks move forward.

Crushing

The selected husks are fed into our heavy-duty Coir Beater machines. Using a mechanical beating principle, the husks are cracked open and broken down, loosening the tough outer layers without damaging the structural integrity of the inner material.

Pith Extraction

Inside the extraction chamber, the crushed husks are spun to cleanly separate the spongy coco pith from the tough coir fibers. An automated outlet conveyor extracts the raw, loose golden coco peat, while the fiber is funneled out for external industrial use.

Mechanical Screening

The raw pith immediately passes through multi-layered rotary screeners. This mechanical sifting process removes fine dust and oversized debris, ensuring that only uniform, high-quality particles enter the processing cycle.

Fresh Water Washing & EC Reduction

Raw coco peat naturally contains high levels of sodium and potassium. We wash the screened pith using clean water to safely dissolve and flush out these excess elements. This natural rinsing process effectively lowers the Electrical Conductivity (EC) levels, ensuring a safe, stable root environment for sensitive crops.

Solar Polyhouse Drying

To ensure complete purity, we dry our washed pith without using fuel-burning machines. Instead, we lay it out under the intense South Indian sun inside our specialized *polyhouse structures*. Built with durable polycarbonate sheets, these greenhouse-like structures trap natural thermal heat, completely drying the pith while protecting it from wind, airborne dirt, and external contamination.

Post-Drying Refining & Air-Medium Separation

Once the material emerges from the drying units, it enters a dedicated, high-tech refining plant. The dried pith is screened again, passing through a specialized “buster” system that breaks up any clustered material. It then moves through an advanced, air-controlled separation medium equipped with a dust collector. This system uses precise air pressure to completely isolate the pure coco peat, blasting away unwanted micro-particles, sand impurities, and stray stones.

High-Pressure Compacting

The completely refined, sand-free coco peat is routed directly into our high-pressure compression machines. We specialize exclusively in processing industry-standard *5kg blocks*, ensuring our machinery is perfectly calibrated for maximum density, perfect dimensions, and rapid, even expansion for growers.

Quality Auditing

Before packaging, random blocks from every batch are pulled by our quality control team. We run strict checks to verify expansion volume and ensure that every single block is entirely free from external impurities like stones, weeds, or sand.

Protective Palletising

The approved 5kg blocks are stacked securely onto heavy-duty wooden pallets. The entire pallet is then securely wrapped to guard the blocks against external moisture.
